OBIT # 8049 - EVENING NEWS - 22 JAN 1972 Westville- Frank Smith, Pictou, died Friday morning in his 76th year. Born in Brookland, Pictou Co., he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Smith. Mr. Smith was a carpenter by trade, having lived the greater part pf his life in Thorburn. He had been a resident of Pictou for the past five years. Surviving is a step-daughter Mrs. Chris Sperdakes, Halifax; and three sisters: Miss Margaret Smith, Mrs. Bessie Fraser, and Mrs. Grace Mattie, Trenton. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Eva Forrestall, and three brothers: Alex, Louis and James. The remains are resting at Eagles Funeral Home, from where the funeral will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
