OBIT # 8142 - CHRONICLE-HERALD - 7 APRIL 1966 Stellarton- Frank Percy Van Buskirk, Jubilee Ave., died this morning in the Aberdeen Hospital after a lengthy illness.He was 76 years old and was born in Bear River East, Annapolis Co., a son of the late Charles and Mary Chute Van Buskirk. He was an accountant in charge of the then Pictou County Power Board and retired in 1959. He was an elder of Sharon St. John United Church and was a Past Master of Keith Lodge No. 23, AF and AM and lodge treasurer for 18 years. He was also a Past Patron of Harmony Chapter. No. 25, Order of Eastern Star. He was keenly interested in the work of the Red Cross and Salvation Army and was treasurer of the Red Shield appeal for 18 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Eva Gould; a son, Roy in Dartmouth; twin daughters, Miss Audrey, RN, of the VG staff, Halifax and Yvonne (Mrs. Kenneth Scissons), Ottawa; two sisters, Lucy (Mrs. Chester Sanford), Bear River East and Miss Lemma Van Buskirk, who is seriously ill in Digby; and eight grandchildren. The remains will rest at the home and the funeral will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from Sharon St. John United Church. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens.
