Pauline Forward 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Pauline Forward, 79, Halifax, passed away November 24, 2005, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born at Bear Point, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Cassie (Veinot) Shand. Pauline is survived by son, Paul Michael; sisters, Laura Smith, Roseway Manor; Dene Williams, Dartmouth; brothers, Lawrence Shand, Bear Point; Gerald Shand, Cold Lake, Alberta; James Shand, Lockeport; cherished nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael B. Forward; sisters, Marguerite MacKenzie, Annie Kohnle, Nora Ryer, Mildred Ryer; brothers, John and Sumner. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Barrington Passage. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army.
