Born in Maitland, she was a daughter of the late John and Ellen Mae Charles. She was a member of the Lockeport Pentecostal Church. Surviving are her husband, Harvey; son, Dale (Rose Mary), Hamilton, Ontario; daughter, Cathy (Mrs. Russell Riddiough), Ontario; brother, LeRoy; sisters, Myrna Penney, Eva Lank, both of Dartmouth; Elda Roache, West Head; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by brothers, David, John, and Herbert. Visitation 10 a.m-12 noon, 7-9 p.m. Saturday in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Lockeport. Funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday in Lockeport Pentecostal Church, Rev. David Elliott officiating. Burial in Osborne Harbour Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to a charity of choice.
