OBIT # 8075 - EVENING NEWS - 20 MAY 1964 Westville- Harlin Norman Stewart, Cowan St., died in the Aberdeen Hospital at 3 o'clock this (Wednesday) morning following a short illness. He was stricken at his home Monday. He was a son of Mrs. Norman Stewart, Westville, and the late Mr. Stewart who died three years ago in June. Born on Jan.16,1910, he received his education here and worked at the Allan Shaft, the Drummond, Eastern Woodworkers Ltd., and just prior to his death, on the Maritime Telegraph and Telephone Company maintenance staff at New Glasgow. He was well-known and an excellent neighbour. He belonged to St. Paul United Church and was active in both regular and male choirs of the church. Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife, the former Minnie Price of Stellarton; three brothers, Wesley and Keith in Westville, and Gordon in New Glasgow; one sister Norma (Mrs. Burns Muirhead), Westville. Two sisters predeceased him. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
