OBIT # 8103 - EVENING NEWS - 8 OCT 1966 Stellarton- The death occured unexpectedly on Friday evening of Mrs. Dave Thompson, North Foord St. Having suffered a coronary attack at her home she died shortly after admittance to the Aberdeen Hospital. She was the former Christena MacMillan, daughter of the late MacRae and Agusta MacMillan, Hazel Glen. Although Mrs. Thompson had been in ill health for several years she kept active. She would have been 68 years old on October 24. She is survived by her husband, a son John W., in Stellarton; two daughters, Dorothy (Mrs. W.D. Forbes), New Glasgow; Eleanor (Mrs. Arthur Brown), Bridgewater; and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters: Mrs. Emma Brown, Stellarton; Mrs. Lena Wood, Westville; and Mrs. Ellen Shortt of North Weymouth, Mass.; a brother, Gardner MacMillan, Westville. The remains are resting at the MacQuarrie Funeral Home, South Foord St., and the funeral will be held from First Presbyterian Church, of which Mrs. Thompson was a member, on Monday at 2:30 p.m..
