UNKNOWN PAPER - ABOUT 1965 - LAWRENCE KENNEDY Lawrence KENNEDY who died in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital on June 15, and who was buried in the Bell Gift Cemetery on the 18 June, was a very popular mail driver. He was 79 years of age and had spent most of his life in this vicinity having been born in Millbrook the son of Robert KENNEDY and Violetta (MacNUTT) KENNEDY. There are no immediate survivors excepting a son Ray of Tatamagouche, his wife predeceasing him not long ago. The people on his mail route honoured him by giving money to the Hospital building fund. Pallbearers were Laurie SWAN, Carl BELL, Laurie TATTRIE, John MacKAY, Don BYERS and Charles MacBURNIE.
