Daniel Venoit 1928 Probably Halifax Chronicle Herald; Tombstone spelling is Veno. New Germany, April 17- Following an illness which extended over a period of eighteen months, the death occurred at his home in Union Square of Daniel Veniot, at the age of seventy-four years. Mr. Veniot was the son of the late Edmond and Mrs. Veniot of New Cornwall. The only surviving member of this family is a sister- Mrs. Austen Hamm of Mahone Bay. In early life he married Miss Julia Feindle of Union Square where he settled. He worked as one of the crew that constructed the first road through that district. His comfortable farm remains as a memorial to his life-long industry and thrift. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons- Charles, Limerick, Maine; Edwin, Union Square; Cecil, Lethbridge, Alberta; Otto, River Hebert; and Perry, at home. In religion he was a member of the Anglican Church. Interment will be made inthe cemetery at Union Square on Saturday.
