Beulah Alice Oakes 2001 Halifac Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, November 16, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Beulah Alice Oakes, 61, Chelsea, passed away November 15, 2001, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of Freda (Mailman) Robar, Chelsea and the late Wilbert Robar. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter-in-law, Karen; grandson, Kyle, both of Bridgewater. She was predeceased by her son, Larry. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in Chelsea Baptist Church, Rev. John Kaulback officiating, assisted by Pastor Jack Hooper. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater.
