Murray Elton Wentzell 1988 Bridgewater Bulletin Murray Elton Wentzell, Maplewood, passed away on December 15, 1988 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, at the age of 91 years. He was the son of the late Wilfred and Louisa (Frank) Wentzell. He was a farmer and a woodsman most of his life and a member of the Parkdale-Maplewood Emmanuel United Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruby Hiltz; three daughters, Louise (Mrs. Carl Dalrymple), Middle Sackville; Joyce (Mrs. Gerald Seamone), Pinehurst; Glenda Wentzell, Bridgewater; two sons, Merrill, Bridgewater; Calvin, Maplewood; four sisters, Vida Webb, Halifax; Laura Wentzell, Mahone Bay; Dorothy Rafuse, Parkdale; Myrtle (Mrs. Sydney Moore), Nanaimo; two brothers, Ray, Maplewood; Cyril, Barss Corner; 14 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by a sister, Burdette and an infant brother, Ward. Funeral service was held Saturday, December 17, 1988, at Emmanuel United Baptist Church, Parkdale; Rev. Malcolm Beckett officiated. Hymns were "Amazing Grace" and "The Lord's My Shepherd." Burial was held at a later date on Thursday, January 26, 1989. Pallbearers were Jack Wentzell, Karl Webb, Jedd Nauss, Lorraine Wentzell, Murray Reeves, and Ervin Fredericks.
