    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - MARY MACKAY There passed away on Sunday evening Jan 3, 1932, at the home of her daughter Mrs. James COX, Riversdale, Mrs. Mary MacKAY, wife of the late George F. MacKAY at the age of 69 years. Her death came as a great shock to her many friends as she was only confined to her room for 10 days. Until a few minutes of her death she was bright and cheerful but was weakened by heart failure and failed to rally, and passed peacefully to her eternal rest on the above mentioned date. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. James COX, Riversdale and Mrs. Walter WORTMAN of Salisbury, N.B. and three brothers, A.C. WALL at the home residence Riversdale, William J. of New Glasgow and Edward WALL of Truro. The funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. James COX and was conducted by the Rev. J.W. GODFREY and was assisted by Rev. Mr. TOWNSEND. The Hymns sung were favorites of the deceased "Asleep in Jesus", "Nearer My God to Thee" in addition to the hymns sung there was a solo "There is no Work in Heaven" by Miss Robina JOHNSON Valley Stn. The pallbearers were friends of the deceased, Lawrence McKAY, Albert THORPE, David YOULDS, Hughie McLELLAN. The floral tributes were beautiful. The body was laid to rest in McLeon's Cemetery at Riversdale.
