Fred Bernard Simpson 2011 Halifax Chronicle Herald Fred Bernard Simpson, 83, Hemford, passed away at home on Thursday, October 6, 2011. Born in Simpson's Corner, he was a son of the late William and Blanche (Zinck) Simpson. Surviving are brother, Carroll Simpson, Hemford; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Mabel Bennett, Elsie Tufts; brothers, Claude, Myles, Roy, Giley, Abner, Lawrence. A public graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Hillside Cemetery, Simpson's Corner, Rev. Catherine Robar officiating. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Simpson's Corner Community Hall or charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home, New Germany.
