UNKNOWN PAPER - MARTHA E. CHAMBERS Brule, March 12, 1941 - Martha E. widow of the late George Henry CHAMBERS died at her home, Brule Shore, Wednesday afternoon, March 12 after a long and severe illness which she bore with patience and endurance. Stricken a number of years ago she received skillful medical attention. Tender and solicitous nursing was given by her youngest daughter, Mrs. John H. ROSS of Detroit, who hastened home on learning of her mothers serious illness. Born at Brule seventy four years ago, she was the former Miss Martha STEVENSON. There her younger days were spent until her marriage to Mr. CHAMBERS in 1892. Since then, she took an active interest in all that pertained to the best interests of the community. A member of Barrosis United Church and the choir also a valued worker in Barrosis W.M.S. She will be sorely missed. Mrs. CARUTHERS was a great loved of flowers and enjoyed working with them. This is the second time within a year the family have been bereaved, Mr. CHAMBERS having passed away July 1940. Left to mourn their loss are two daughters, Mrs. Russel BUCKLER (Hattie) Brule Shore, and Mrs. John H. ROSSO of Detroit and one son J. Andrew CHAMBERS at home. A beloved daughter, Mrs. Chas.
