Chronicle Herald - Wednesday, 08 September 1965 - Page 16 - Mrs. Clarence Banks - Middleton - Mrs. Edith Weldon Banks, 67, of Kingston died at the Western Kings Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Selma, Hants County. A member of Tremont Baptist Church, she taught the adult Bible class for many years and was president of the Women's Missionary Aid Society. She was also president of the Tremont Garden Club. Her husband, Clarence Banks is a farmer of Kingston. Mrs. Banks is survived by her husband; a foster son, Eugene May, Sackville, N.B., a foster daughter, Mrs. Amon Langley, Newcastle, Ont.; one sister, Mrs. Belle McLearn, South Rawdon; one brother, Milton, Selma. The funeral service was at the Lower Aylesford United Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert Jones assisted by Rev. William Thomas. Interment was in Tremont Cemetery. Find A Grave Memorial 146450121
