UNKNOWN PAPER - MARY J. DORT At Marlboro Mass. On March 21, 1938. Mrs. Mary J. DORT died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aleona MacQUARRIE 316 Mechanic St. Mrs. DORT was born in Kemptown Col. Co. on April 3, 1851 the daughter of Matthew and Rose (RITCHIE) JOHNSON but lived in Marlboro for the last thirty years. The funeral was held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and was attended by a large number of friends and relatives. Rev. John CUMMINGS pastor of First Congregational Church conducted the service. Ashley EDDY and Lona EDDY both of Hudson, rendered two vocal duets "Beyond" and "Sleep Beloved". The pallbearers were the three sons and the son in law of the deceased. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery. Surviving are three sons Thomas C., Charles E., and John M. DORT, and one daughter, Mrs. S.B. MacQUARRIE all of Marboro; three brothers and fours sisters Mrs. William JOHNSON, Mrs. George STEVENS, Mrs. George FORBES of Kemptown, Brenton JOHNSON and Mrs. Margaret JOHNSON of Bible Hill, Albert of Musquodoboit, Mrs. Louise MacDONALD, Worcester, Mass., besides three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
