Evelyn Carver January, 1929. Bridgewater Bulletin The very sudden death of Miss Evelyn Carver, eldest daughter of Alvin Carver of New Germany, took place suddenly at the residence of Mrs. Harrington on January 2, caused by pneumonia complications following influenza. Death was totally unexpected by her physicians and came while her sister was reading to her at her bedside. The funeral took place at New Germany on Saturday morning, Rev. MacRae conducting the services. A number attended the funeral from Bridgewater. Miss Carver was a young lady of excellent character and had many friends who mourn their loss.
