    3. Outlook - Thursday, 28 November 1968 - Page 16 - Robert Sterling Bell - Mr. Robert Sterling Bell of Kingston, N.S., was killed on Nov. 14, 1968 in a car accident at the age of 53. Mr. Bell was born at Amherst, N.S., son of Mr. Harry C. Bell and the late Edna (Mahoney) Bell. He was educated in Dartmouth, N.S. and the Cumberland County Academy in Amherst. He worked as an electrician at the Greenwood Air Base. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Canadian Legion. In 1940 Mr. Bell served with the Carlton York Regt. and later in 1941 was transferred to the North Nova Scotia Highlanders. He was a prisoner of war from 1943 to 1945. Mr. Bell is survived by his father, Mr. Harry Bell, Brampton, Ont.; his wife Ada, three sons, Allison 16, Wayne 14 and Blaine 13. Two brothers, Lawrence Bell, Toronto, Ont.; Allison Bell, Dartmouth; two sisters, Margaret Murphy, Kingston, Ont., and Mrs. Joyce McGill of Brampton, Ont. Funeral services were conducted from the Tremont Baptist Church on Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Mr. McCormick. Interment was in Tremont Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charlie Parker, Ralph Neily, Earle Neily, Cpl. Keizer, Richard Harding and Luther Jensen. Find A Grave Memorial 146492599
