    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - APRIL 1941 James H. LYNCH, 68, a retired railway worker died five o'clock Tuesday afternoon, 1 April 1941 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Jack McKAY Upper Mount Thom, Pictou Co. The deceased was born at Kemptown son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George LYNCH. He was a stower at the C.N.R. Freight shed at Truro from which position he retired about 7 years ago. He was a member of the first United Church Truro and of the Kemptown United Church. About four years ago he moved to Riversdale and a year and a half ago moved to Upper Mount Thom. His wife predeceased him. He is survived by the following sons and daughters, Rita (Mrs. John R. GASPER), Brighton, Mass.; Stuart of Economy; Gladys (Mrs. Jack McKAY) Upper Mount Thom; Florence (Mrs. S.A. MINGO) Truro; Miss Bessie, Bible Hill; Ethel (Mrs. Lewis FENTON) Dartmouth; Almon, Bible Hill. One daughter Lillion (Mrs. R.Y. CHRISTIE, Truro passed away in 1934. The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. Friday from Mattatall's Undertaking Parlors Young Street with interment at Kemptown.
