Banks - After a long period of illness the death of Stewart Kenneth Banks, Tremont, occurred at his home on Friday, July 1st, at the age of 63 years. Born at Canterbury, N.B., he was a son of the late Avard and Hannah Banks. He received his education in the schools at Kingston Village. His occupation was that of farming. He was a World War I veteran. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, the former Eva Neily; seven daughters and four sons: Marion (Mrs. Richard Walsh), Long Island, N.Y.; Nilda (Mrs. Jack Stormont), Fort Eric, Ont.; Jean, Halifax; Beulah (Mrs. Fred Evans), Halifax; Alice (Mrs. Clifford Neily), Nictaux; Thelma (Mrs. Glen Lightizer); Kingston; Sandra at home; Kenneth, Long Island, N.Y.; Seldon, Tremont; Vance with the RCAF in Germany, and Garth at home. The funeral was held from the Tremont Baptist Church with Rev. Howard McCormick officiating. Pallbearers were Earl Neily, Earl Baltzer, Don Foster, Chester Morse, Seymour Ward and Keith Clark.
