Born in Maitland, she was a daughter of the late Winifred ( Winfred?) and Stella (Oickle) Barry. She is survived by sons, Dwight, Branch LaHave; Edward (Virginia Oickle), Lower Northfield; Gary (Elizabeth Wentzell), West Northfield; daughter, Patricia (Eddy) Hodder, Middle LaHave; twin grandsons, Joseph and Jonathan Crossland; grandson, Chad Tanner; granddaughter, Vanessa Nauss; sisters, Pearl Joudrey, Bridgewater; Jean Nauss, Spryfield; brothers, Ray (Isabelle) and John, both of Maitland; Donald (Ella May), Northwest; George (Sylvia), Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; sister, Phyllis Meisner; brother, Ivan. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Christ Anglican Church, Maitland, Rev. Ian Wissler officiating. A private family burial will follow in Christ Anglican Cemetery, Maitland. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church, Maitland, or Canadian Cancer Society.
