    3. OBIT # 8226 - UNKNOWN PAPER - 14 MAY 1959 Stellarton- The funeral of the late H.C. (Paul) Badoux, Jubilee Ave., was held from Sharon St. John United Church, and was largely attended by relatives, friends and co-workers from all parts of the county. The service was conducted by his pastor, Rev. D.C. Boothroyd, assisted by Rev. A.T. MacDonald. The choir led in singing favorite Hymns "Take Time To Be Holy" and "Does Jesus Care?" Mr. Boothroyd choose as his text Revelation 7:15. "Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His Temple, and He that sitteth on the throne, should dwell among them." Mr. Boothroud said that those that truly love God are always before His throne, both here, and in the Heavenly Home. They see reminders of God every day, and are mindful of His presence in prayer. He likened life to a day and night before the throne of God, the day being our early life when we serve Him in our work, the night could be later years, those of retirement and for some ill health, and it is in these years that faith in God, and His goodness is asked to stand the test. The minister spoke of Mr. Badoux's love for His church, noting he had been in his accustomed pew only the Sunday before. He spoke of his love for children, and of his faithfulness to his work on the railroad which he served for many years. To the family he left a message of comfort. The pall bearers were Arnold Badoux, Garfield Badoux, Eldred Badoux, Earl Badoux, Royce Badoux, and Harold Leadbeater. Interment was in Brookside cemetery.(*Brookside Cemetery- Badoux, H.C.
