Vera Minerva Hartlen 2002 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, November 26, 2002. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Vera Minerva Hartlen, 87, Liverppol, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2002, in Queens Manor, Liverpool. Born in Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Lottie M. (Rafuse) Wilson. She was employed with Seldon's Pharmacy, Liverpool, for a number of years, retiring in 1969 due to ill health. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 34, Liverpool. She is survived by daughters, Charlotte (Mrs. Mike Horwich), Halifax; Patricia Morrow, New Germany; Dianne (Mrs. Brendon Ford), Halifax; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald "Sinclair"; sister, Martha; brothers, Otto, Eugene, and James in infancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 28, in Trinity Anglican Church, Liverpool, Canon Ken Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
