Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Clayton and Eleanor (Fraser) Corkum. He was a crew member on the M.V. Tenacity I, out of LaHave Seafoods. He was an avid outdoorsman. Surviving are his wife, the former Carolyn Tumblin; daughter, Rhonda MacRae (Roddie), Conquerall Bank; brothers, Eric, Liverpool; Ronnie (Nicole), Dayspring; Charles (Barbara), Halifax; sisters, Judy Mercer, Bridgewater; Edith Naugler (Gregory), Camperdown; Linda Abaza (Khalid), Egypt; grandson, Alex MacRae; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by son, David. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service 11 a.m. Friday in Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating.
