    3. Chronicle Herald - Tuesday, 03 April 1979 - Page 27 - Beverly A. Cole - Greenwood Square - Beverly Arnold Cole, 41, of Greenwood Square, died Sunday at home. Born in Greenwood Village, he was a son of Mrs. Ila (Hergett) Cole and the late Walter Cole. He was a mechanic with Ron Baltzer, Aylesford. Surviving besides his mother, are his wife, the former Laura Jodrey; a daughter, Laura Lee and a son, Keith, both of Greenwood Square; three sisters, Thelma (Mrs. Robert MacKenzie), Greenwood Village; Marlene (Mrs. Alex Hannah) and Sharon (Mrs. Donald Anderson), both of CFB Baggotville, Que.; grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Cole, Windsor. The body is at Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Protestant Chapel, Greenwood, Rev. John Leddicote officiating. Burial will be in Tremont cemetery. Outlook - Thursday, 11 July 1940 - Page 1 - Fred Clarence Barkhouse - There passed away at the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, June 26th, Fred Barkhouse, of Tremont, as the result of injuries sustained at Auburn, on the 20th. He was the son of Mrs. Rose Barkhouse and the late Simon Barkhouse. Fred was born in Lakeview, Kings County, in 1906, and lived there until 1922, when he moved to Tremont with his parents. Since then, with the exception of a few years spent in the U.S.A., he has lived in Tremont. He gained a large number of friends wherever he went, and they were overwhelmed by the tragedy which caused his untimely death. He was a young man of sterling character, and was a most esteemed citizen. Fred always took part in community activities and was a loyal member of the Sunday School and choir. Funeral service was conducted at the Baptist Church in Tremont on Friday, with Rev. E.L. Tuck of Auburn, officiating, assisted by Rev. C.W. Cook, Kingston. Mr. Cook paid a fitting tribute to the deceased mentioning how trustworthy and honourable he was in all walks of life. A beautiful solo was rendered by Mrs. Enos Varner. Burial took place in the family lot at Tremont. He leaves to mourn their loss, his mother. Find A Grave Memorial 148247813
