    3. Mirror - Wednesday, 22 April 1970 - Page 8 - Clarence Banks - Middleton - Clarence Erastus Banks, 76, of Tremont, Kings County, died following a short illness at the Berwick Hospital. He was born in Kingston, son of the late Avard and Hanna Banks. His wife, the former Edith Weldon, of Selma, Hants County, predeceased him in 1965. The late Mr. Banks was a farmer. He was a member of the Greenwood Square United Church and of the Kingston I.O.O.F. Left to mourn his passing are one foster son Eugene May, of Sackville, N.B., and one foster daughter, Mrs. Amos Langley, of Newcastle, Ontario. Also one sister Mrs. Douglas Dolliver of Tremont, and brother Leslie Banks, of Torbrook Mines. Another brother Stewart Banks predeceased him. Funeral service was held from the Tremont Baptist Church with Rev. Howard McCormcik officiating. Burial was at the Tremont Cemetery. Pallbearers were H.E. Armstrong, Milford Marshall, Edwin Banks, Carroll Collins, Max Stoddart and Norman Stoddart. Find A Grave Memoraial 146450074
