Iris Marlene Whynot 2009 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Iris Marlene Whynot, 59, Halifax, passed away suddenly on April 8, 2009, at home. Born in Milton, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Agnes (Beeler) Whynot. Iris was a devoted mother and grandmother. Surviving are daughters, Angie (Craig) Kirby, Mount Uniacke; Amie Tobin, Halifax; grandchildren, Kyle and Juliana Kirby. She was predeceased by her husband, Larry Tobin. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2-4 p.m. Sunday with a memorial service 11 a.m. Monday, both in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Rev. Carson Baxter officiating. Interment in Trinity Anglican Church Cemetery, Liverpool. Donations may be made to the family or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
