OBIT # 8267 - EVENING NEWS - 11 MARCH 1974 Riverton- Lindy Cameron of this community died Sunday in the VG Hospital, Halifax. Born in Abercrombie 46 years ago he was a son of the late Halver and Blanche (Crawford) Cameron. Mr. Cameron was a self-employed welder. Surviving are his wife, the former Helen Scott; a daughter Linda (Mrs. Lawrence MacKay), Union Center; a son Scott, Riverton; two grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Bessie (Mrs. Clarence Atwater), Linacy; Joan (Mrs. Lloyd Smith), Barney's River; six brothers, Carl, Don, Earl, all in Ontario; Bill, Linacy; Bunny and Harris, Merigomish. He was predeceased by a son in infancy. The remains will rest at his late residence after seven this evening. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
