Foster Rudland Russell 1958 Bridgewater Bulletin One of East Dalhousie's best known citizens, Foster R. Russell, 49 years, died suddenly on Tuesday morning, March 11th. He was a devoted husband and father as well as a good neighbour and friend. Surviving are his wife; their only child, Peter; also Mrs. Russell's aged mother, Mrs. Edward Long, who lives with them; a brother, Murray Russell, New Ross; three sisters, Louie (Mrs. Arthur Duncanson), of Falmouth; Marion (Mrs. Frank Moore), Kentville; and Mrs. A.L. Gaul of Hinsdale, New Hampshire. Foster Russell was born at New Russell and was a son of the late Wallace Russell of that place. Funeral services were Friday in St. Brigid's Church, Upper East Dalhousie, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Nolan and Rev. Davis officiated. Pall bearers were Ronald Smith, Fred and Maurice Oickle, Charles and Quentin Kaulback, and Douglas Lonergan.
