OBIT # 8191 - EVENING NEWS - 30 JULY 1962 Stellarton- Mrs. William Wright, Foord St., passed away suddenly in the Aberdeen Hospital Sunday evening following an illness of three weeks. She was 48. Born in Thorburn, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. MacDonald, but had lived all her married life in Stellarton. Prior to her marriage she had been employed at both Goodman's and David's in New Glasgow. Mrs. Wright was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Stellarton, and had been active in all the women's organizations of the church. She had held the office of corresponding secretary of the Local Council of Women; was a vice-president of the Provincial Council of Women, and had been a keen worker for the improvement plan of the MacLellan Mountain Cemetery. She is survived by her husband; two brothers, Henry MacDonald of Thorburn, and Alexander MacDonald in Sussex; three sisters, Margaret (Mrs. C. Pearmain), San Francisco, Calif.; Hazel (Mrs. J. Oggy), Toronto; and Violet (Mrs. Douglas Wood), Moncton. The remains are resting at the home of her brother Henry in Thorburn, and the funeral arrangements will be announced later.
