Armstrong, 86, West Caledonia, died May 11, 2000, in the Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Whiteburn, she was a daughter of the late John and Barbara (Weagle) Conway. Surviving are daughters, Doris Carver, Harmony; Marilyn Annesty, Hamilton; Helen Thompson, Shelburne; Jean Andrews, Hamilton; Rosanna Therpstra, Windsor, Ontario; Carolyn Armstrong, North Brookfield; sons, James, Alliston, Ontario; Charles, Harmony; Terry , Prince Rupert; Robert, Weston, Ontario; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren; brother, Francis, West Caledonia. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy; daughter, Carolyn; sons, Gary, Daniel, and Guy Jr.; grandson, Shane; sisters, Jean, Bernice, Annie; brother, Neil. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday in St. Jerome's Catholic church, West Caledonia, Rev. J. MacKey officiating. Burial in St. Jerome's Church Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to the North Queens Fire Association or to the Queens General Hospital Foundation.
