OBIT # 8177 - EVENING NEWS - 6 APRIL 1972 Westville- Mrs. Joseph Wheatley, Mt. William Road, for many years a well-known florist in this area, died Wednesday in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in Belper, England, in 1889, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Winson coming to Canada in 1912 and residing at Mt. William for the past 50 years. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church. Surviving are two daughters: Mary (Mrs. Hector Sibille), Mt. William Rd.; Eileen (Mrs. Merle Lee), Milltown, N.B.; and two sons: Fred, Ontario; and Ronald, at home. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Juliet Coulthread, and Alice Winsom, both in England, and by five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband five years ago and by two sons: Leonard, killed in the Albion Mine explosion, and John in 1928. The remains are resting at the Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton. Interment will be in Auburn Cemetery
