Mervin Willis Woodworth 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Mervin Willis Woodworth, 80, Bridgewater, passed away August 20, 2006, in Northhills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry, Annapolis County. Born in Chelsea, he was a son of the late Maurice and Bernice (Hebb) Woodworth. Surviving are his wife, the former Shirley Hirtle; daughter, Pamela (Gordon) Heim, Chelsea; sons, Peter, Cookville; Paul (Sharon), Philip, both of Bridgewater; sister, Irene (Lewis) Heim, Chelsea; grandchildren, Jessie, Sarah, and Bruce Heim; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Frank, Wallace, and Clinton. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial service 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield, Rev. William Gustafson officiating, assisted by Rev. Willis Ott. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield or Northhills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry.
