OBIT # 8235 - EVENING NEWS - 9 NOV 1959 Stellarton- Mrs. Maggie Baxter, Acadia Ave., passed away Sunday morning at 7 o'clock in the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, after having been in ill health for many years. She was born 67 years ago in Ipstock, England, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Partner, and came to Stellarton at the age of 19. She had resided here ever since, and was a member of Sharon St.John United Church. Mrs. Baxter is survived by two sons, Dr. Sidney Baxter of Amherst and Joseph of Stellarton; three daughters, Hazel (Mrs. John Mitchell), at home; Marjorie (Mrs. George Grant), Toronto; and Millie (Mrs. Gus Fortier), Noranda, Que.; and one sister Cecelia (Mrs. William Boudreau), Stellarton. She was predeceased by her husband James, two years ago, and five brothers.
