Virginia R. Zwicker 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Virginia R. Zwicker, 73, Chelsea, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2005, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a valiant struggle with cancer. Born in Chelsea, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Pearl (Wessell) Woodworth. Married in 1952 to the late Charles Zwicker, she spent more than 30 years travelling as an air force wife before moving home to Chelsea. During her later years, she had a great passion for making beautiful quilts. Surviving are her daughter, Deborah, Chelsea; sons, Blaine (Christine), Eastern Passage; Brain (Cheryl) Pine Grove; grandchildren, Alicia, Kerry Anne, Brenna, Courtney; great-grandchildren, Bethany and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; brother, Donald Woodworth. Cremation has taken place under the direction of R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Private family graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea, at a later date. No flowers by family request. Memorial donations may be made to Chelsea and District Volunteer Fire Department.
