Born in Tremont, he was a son of the late Enos and Clara (Banks) Hatt. He is survived by his wife, the former Ina Milner; four daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Russell Whynott), Hall Road; Mrs. Vivian MacDougall, Glebe Road; Freda (Mrs. Arthur Lashinsky), Tremont; Heather (Mrs. Robert McDougall), Rock Notch Road; two sons, Morley, Stoney Creek, Ont.; Enos (Sonny), Ward Road; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Whitman, Maine; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Arnold; four sisters, Margaret, Evelina, Vida and Nina; two brothers, Willard and Chester. The body is in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Tremont United Baptist Church, Rev. Stewart MacLean and Rev. Robert Hatt officiating. Burial will be in Tremont Cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
