OBIT # 8215 - EVENING NEWS - 15 APRIL 1978 PICTOU - Angus Vernon McLean died Friday in Sarnia, Ont. Born in Pictou 47 years ago he was a son of the late Ronald and Margaret (MacKaracher) McLean. Mr. McLean was a resident of Sarnia for the past two years where he was a welder. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Pictou Legion. Surviving are a son, Daniel and a daugher, Margaret, both of Pictou; two sisters, Dorothy (Mrs William Costello); Helen (Mrs. Edward Buckler), both of Hamilton, Ont.; and three brothers, Welsford, Oshawa; John and Roy, both of Pictou. The remains will rest at the McLaren Funeral Home after 7 o'clock Monday from where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery.
