OBIT # 8148 - EVENING NEWS - 20 NOV 1970 Westville- Clarke Wallace, Union St., died on Thursday following a lengthy illness. He was in his 66th year. Born in New Brunswick, he was the son of Ethel Wallace, Pugwash, and the late George Wallace. Mr. Wallace was a member of St. Paul United Church and had been a miner by trade. Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Wilson; two sons: Bernie, with the airforce in Germany; James, Scarboro, Ont.; five daughters: Ethel (Mrs. Robert Russell), Westville;Doreen (Mrs. Bernard Clark), New Glasgow; Yvonne (Mrs. Keith Heighton), Pictou; Shirley (Mrs. Frank Shelby), Sault Ste, Marie, Ont.; Sandra (Mrs. Robert MacDonald), Stellarton; and 23 grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers: Bruce, Thorburn; George, Eureka; Charles, Stellarton and Cedric, Wallace; three sisters: Agnes (Mrs. Fred Fiefield), Marion (Mrs. Ian Keh), both in Stellarton; Bernice (Mrs. Roland O'Brien), Pugwash. He was predeceased by a daughter in infancy and a brother Phillip. The remains will rest at Eagles Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
