OBIT # 8168 - EVENING NEWS - 24 FEB 1978 Eureka- Robert H. Ward, 71, of Eureka, died in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, Thursday. Born in Eureka, he was a son of the late Robert and Frances (Snelgrave) Ward. He was a member of Wesley United Church, Eureka and a former member of the Masonic Lodge, Hopewell. He was employed at Hawker Siddeley Ltd., Trenton up until his retirement. Surviving besides his wife, the former Laura Dodge; are one daughter Helen (Mrs. Jack Cameron), Moncton; one son Robert at home; three sisters: Ethel (Mrs. George Wallace), Eureka; Frances (Mrs. Eddy MacIntosh), Riverton; Bessie (Mrs. Alfred Fraser), New Glasgow; and three brothers: Cecil, West River; Arthur and Wilfred, both of Eureka. The remains will rest at the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton, after 7 p.m. on Friday. Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Wesley United Church, Eureka. Interment will be in the Riverton cemetery.
