Stella May Bushen 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Stella May Bushen, 90, Bridgewater, passed away December 21, 2005, in Happy Home for Seniors, Petite Riviere. Born at Petite Riviere, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Eva (Himmelman) Crouse. She is survived by daughter, Shirley (Elliott) MacKinnon; son, Melvin (Judy) Bushen, all of Bridgewater; grandchildren, Tyler Bushen, Neil (Leanne) MacKinnon; great-granddaughter, Breagh MacKinnon; brother, Lyland, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her husband, Byron; sisters, Viola Publicover, Gladys Fralick, Daisy Weagle; brothers, Cedric, Erlin, Cecil, Clarence, Garth. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Flowers accepted. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
