UNKNOWN PAPER - JOHN GEORGE FERGUSON November 9, 1979. Bayhead - John George FERGUSON, 81, of Bayhead, Colchester County, died Friday, Nov. 9th, in Wentworth. Born in Earltown he was a son of the late George and Christina (GUNN) FERGUSON. He was a farmer all of his life, residing in Oxford until moving to Bayhead. He was a member of the Nova Scotia Horsemen's Association, and a member of the Bayhead United Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Elsie SWAN; four sons, John, Norton, N.B.; Douglas, Bayhead; Ralph, Sydney; Danny, South Middleboro; one daughter, Anne (Mrs. Gerald WILSON), Wentworth; and 20 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister, Jennie. Funeral service was held Monday in Bayhead United Church.
