George Gilbert Brown 2009 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Monday, March 23, 2009. >From the collection of Gwen Christie George Gilbert Brown, 66, of Centreville, Kings County, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in the Forties Settlement, on April 14, 1942, he was the son of the late George and Lillian (Jones) Brown. He retired from G.K. Morse Trucking. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (Crouse); daughter, Shawna, Calgary; sisters, Ruby (Doug) MacKay, Truro; Juanita (Carl) Bezanson, Port Williams; Elizabeth "Betti" (Doug) Gallupe, Dartmouth; nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his dog, Charlie Brown. Cremation has taken place under the direction of White Family Funeral Home, Kentville and there will be no visitation by request. Donations in memory may be made directly to the family or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the ICU of the Valley Regional Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
