Gladys Viola Feener 2002 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Gladys Viola Feener, 99, Princedale, Annapolis County, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2002, in North Hills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry. Born in Princedale, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Elder and Alice Maude (Mailman) Milner. She was an adherent of Clementsvale United Baptist Church. Gladys was an avid knitter and enjoyed rug braiding. She is survived by daughters, Ida Taylor, Caledonia; Jennie Aptt (Carl), Princedale; Mary Berry (Robert), Bridgetown; Martha Nesbitt, Kingston; son, Leslie Feener (Leota), Princedale; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Riley, North Hills Nursing Home; Isabelle Porter, Bear River East; brother, Murray Milner, North Hills Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Lovell Neil; sisters, Hazel, Mary, and Edith; brothers, Elder, Jack, Harry, Myres, and Clifford; two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Robert L. Hall Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in Clementsvale United Baptist Church, Rev. Warren Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will be in Clementsvale United Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clementsvale United Baptist Cemetery Fund.
