It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Loring on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Vivian (Adams) Langille, Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay and the late Clifford Langille, formerly of Martin's River. He was owner of Loring's Plumbing and Heating. Loring is survived by his wife, Gretchen (Mosher); son, Jason (Joanne); grandchildren, Ethan and Jayde; brothers, Norman (Frances), Austin; sisters, Elaine (Tom) Barkhouse, Irma (Kerry) Weaver, Rose-Marie (Russell) Swinimer; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Norma Mosher. He was predeceased by brother, Wade. Visiting will be 7-9 p.m. today in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, April 17, in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martin's Point, the Rev. Bonnie Baird officiating. A reception will follow in the lower level of the church.
