Doris Irene Feldman 2003 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Saturday, February 22, 2003. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Doris Irene Feldman, 78, Roco Point, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau, Yarmouth County, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2003, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born December 15, 1924, in Boston, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Seastrom. She worked in shipbuilding at the Charleston Navy Yard during the Second World War. Doris was a loving wife and mother and she leaves behind to mourn, her husband, Richard; daughter, Christine Towner, Connecticut; grandchildren, Christian J. Towner, California; Heather X. Towner, Connecticut. Doris is also survived by her stepmother, Beatrice Seastrom; stepbrothers, Ralph Seastrom, Paul Seastrom; step-sister, Linda Seastrom, all of Massachusetts. She was predeceased by stepbrother, Robert Seastrom. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Doris was a good-hearted woman who brought love and warmth to the world and those around her. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Donations in memory may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth.
