Borden Walter Eisnor 2008 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Borden Walter "Daddy" Eisnor, 85, Aylesford, formerly of Waterville, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on August 10, 1923, in Mahone Bay, he was a son of the late Walter and Hattie Eisnor. Daddy was a carpenter by trade and worked for MacWallace, V.C. Woodworth, and Topline Ventures. Daddy played in a band for many years and had a great love for cats. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Surviving are his wife, Grace (Reeves) Eisnor, Waterville; sons, David (Paulette), Waterville; Brian (Joanne), Kentville; Wayne, Waterville; Patrick, Millville; Christopher (Christa), Wilmot; special grandson, David (Cindy), Kentville; daughters, Terry (Gerald) Wheaton, Alberta; Carol (Peter Brown) Eisnor, Weston; Tammy (Ron) Faulkner, Sackville; Heather Smith, Morristown, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria "Doll" Porter, Waterville. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by daughter, Donna Jean Eisnor; several brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place today from 7-9 p.m. in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick, where a service in celebration of Daddy's life will take place 4 p.m. Sunday, August 31, Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating. Burial will take place in Waterville Cemetery immediatley following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
