Agnes Thelma Hatt 2011 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, December 20, 2011. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Agnes Thelma Hatt, 92, Gold River, passed away December 18, 2011. Born in New Orleans, she was a daughter of the late Mrs. Margaret Ann Kaizer (Kennedy) and the late Edward LaCroutes. She was a former employee of Sears Limited, Halifax. Surviving are her sons, Alan, Gold River; Thomas and wife Diana (Oxner), Chester Basin; brother, Phillip and wife Claudine (Laing), Clermont, Florida; granddaughters, Susan and husband, Marty Swinamer, Alana and husband, Steven Heaslip and grandson, Stephen and wife, Michelle (Roy); great-granddaughter, Lauren Heaslip; great-grandsons, Delbert and Lucas Swinamer; sister-in-law, Willa (Mrs. Raymond Kaizer); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lewis St.C. Hatt; brother, Raymond Kaizer; sister, Roselea Simmons and husband, Frederick Simmons; cherished stepfather, Robie Kaizer. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or funeral service by Agnes' request. No flowers please. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Agnes to Western Shore Baptist Church or to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
