Mervyn Blenus Snair 2002 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Mervyn Blenus Snair, 61, Queensland, passed away peacefully Friday, August 2, 2002, in the Palliative Care Unit, QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Queensland, he was a son of Margaret (Harnish) and the late Blenus Snair. Mervyn was a fisherman all his life. He had a strong love for all of nature. He was well-known and respected by all in the community and will be sadly missed. Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving companion, Nancy Lovett; sisters, Patsy (Melvin) Gray, Christine (Ronnie) McInnis; brother, Gary (Nancy) Snair; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today in Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Luke's Anglican Church, Hubbards, Rev. Randy Townsend officiating. Burial to follow in St. John's Church Cemetery, Queensland. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
