Gloria Jean Muise 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday October 23, 2001. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Gloria Jean Muise, 55, passed away suddenly Sunday, October 21, 2001, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, surrounded by family. Born in Roseway Hospital, Shelburne, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Daisy (Hiltz) Meisner. She was a devoted wife and mother, a long-time member of St. Michael's Parish. She was an active member of Elizabeth Sutherland School PTA. She devoted her life to others, giving all that she could, never stopping to think of herself. Surviving are her loving husband, Gerald Muise; daughter, Sarah Muise; sons, Kevin Muise and wife Sara Mackay; Jason Muise and Lisa Dauphinee, all of Halifax; brother, Wayne and wife Cathy, Dartmouth; brothers-in-law, Edgar and wife Pauline Muise, Clayton Muise, Jimmy and wife Catherine Muise, Paul and wife Anne Marie Muise, Ricky and wife Joan Muise; three nephews; four nieces. She was predeceased by brother, Orin Meisner, East Green Harbour. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax. Prayer service during the evening visitation. Memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Father John Mills officiating. A memorial service will also be held in st. Agnes church, Quinan, later in the week. Cremation has taken place. Burial in Quinan will also follow later in the week. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice.
