Uda Grace Zellers 2008 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Wednesday, August 13, 2008. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Uda Grace Zellers, 94, Feltzen South, died Monday, August 11, 2008, in Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Born in Feltzen South on September 30, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Martha (Spindler) Mosher. Uda was a member of St. John's by the Sea Lutheran Church, Feltzen South, where she was a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and belonged to the LCW/ELW. She was also one of the founding members of the Friendship Card Club. Surviving are her only daughter, Marina Creaser and son-in-law Leon; grandchildren, Cathy, Gregory (Barbara), all of Feltzen South; Shelley, Ottawa; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Isabelle, Feltzen South; sister-in-law, Norma Mosher, Medford, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her husband, Wallace; brothers, Gerald, Alister, Irvin, Cyril, Melvin; sisters, Irene, Verna, Margaret, and Elsie. Uda will be dearly missed by her daughter, Marina, Leon, and her family and friends. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., Rev. Willis Ott officiating. No visitation by family request. Interment will be in Feltzen South Cemetery. Flowers from immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's by the Sea Lutheran Church or Harbour View Haven.
