Dianne Sylvia McKay 2005 Halifax Chronicle Herald Dianne "Sylvia" McKay, 62, Aylesford, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2005, in the VG Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Cherryfield, she was a daughter of the late Manson and Marjorie (Whynot) Robar. Sylvia is survived by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth McKay; son, Kevin, Oshawa; daughters, Angie (Boyd Jr.) Drew, Farmington; Brenda McKay, at home; grandchildren, Mitchel Keddy, Krissy Drew (Allen Rhodenizer), Dani Drew, Riley Drew, and Courtney McKay; special sister, Sharon (Ronald) Murphy, Aylesford; special friends, Barb McDermott and Mable Johnson; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Warren and Chester in infancy and Carter. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 10, in H.C. Lindsay Funeral home, Berwick, Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating. Burial in Aylesford Union Cemetery. No flowers please.
